If you have diabetes, you are not alone! Each day, over 2,000 people are diagnosed with diabetes. It is estimated that there are 17 million people with diabetes in the United States and another 16 million have pre-diabetes, or blood sugar levels that are higher than normal but not yet high enough to be diagnosed as diabetes. Although diabetes is a chronic disease with no cure, the good news is that with proper care and treatment you can live a long and healthy life.
